WHO WE ARE

Dental care is the leading unmet health care need for children with special needs.

• There are estimated to be more than 190,000 adults and children with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Pennsylvania.
• One in three disabled adults have experienced an unmet health-care need over the past year due to high costs associated with their condition.
• One in two severely disabled individuals cannot find access to proper dental care.

A Gift of Smiles is working to make a difference by providing access to dental healthcare for those with intellectual or developmental disabilities living in central Pennsylvania.

Our Dental Services

A Gift of Smiles foundation provides comprehensive dental healthcare regardless of provider, insurance limitations, or financial barriers for intellectually or developmentally disabled members of the central Pennsylvania community.
